FACIALS

Making your dreams for beautiful, radiant skin come true is possible with a facial. Not only are facials necessary for maintaining healthy skin, they are also a wonderful way to relax during your day at the spa. This skin saving regimen may include a facial mask or two and is often customized to your specific skin type and skin concerns. Whether you have dry, oily, combination, sensitive, or normal skin, you can find a facial that is perfect for you. Facials give pores a much needed deep cleanse, while injecting nutrients and hydration back into the skin. Facials begin with a consultation between you and our esthetician to figure out exactly what your skin needs to look its best. Worried about extractions or exfoliation on your sensitive skin? Skip it! Lay back, relax, and prepare to look radiant.

Rosacea Facial
Facials for clients with rosacea are soothing services using products aimed at calming irritation and decreasing the appearance of redness associated with this skin condition. Facials for rosacea are designed to protect, correct, and boost the skin by strengthening delicate capillaries and evening skin tone. Daily skin care may also be recommended by your Esthetician.

Acne Facial
Acne treatments are not just for teenagers. Many men and women in their 20’s, 30’s and beyond are dealing with spots, pimples and irritated skin. a visit to the spa could also improve your skin.

At Mf Aesthetics treatments for acne usually employ deep-pore and deep-tissue cleansing to rid the skin of excess oils and stimulate circulation. Antibacterial ingredients like tea tree oil and lavender are often utilized in an Acne Facial to prevent further breakouts and soothe your skin. Acne Facials generally incorporate a combination of thorough steaming, deep cleansing, facial extractions to remove pore-clogging sebum, a healing mask and gentle moisturizer. Let your aesthetician know if you are on any acne medications as some products do not react well with Acne Facials. For those who suffer from more extreme cases of acne, a spa facial may not be the best treatment. In this case, the therapist should advise you to make an appointment with a dermatologist.

In many cases, more than one treatment is needed to achieve the desired result. Generally, a series of acne facials as well as at-home care that features a daily skin-care regime is recommended for ideal results.

Dermaplaning
Dermaplaning is becoming a popular and powerful remedy if you’re looking to enhance the feel and tone of your skin. Dermaplaning uses a fine blade that gently removed fine facial hair, lifeless pores and skin cells that block pores causing congestion.

At Mf Aesthetics we integrate Dermaplaning with Jelly Masks and LED Therapy pertinent to your specific skin concerns.

Dermaplaning provides following benefits:
• Complete elimination of fine facial hair
• Removes lifeless skin cells
• Skin resurface leaving you with “Baby Smooth” skin
• Clear complexion
• Reduction in pigmentation and zits scarring
• Reduction in fine facial lines and wrinkles
• Brightens skin in general.

How does it work?
Your Licensed Aesthetician will cleanse and dry your face. Next, she will lightly glide dermaplaning patented blade on the surface of your skin to get rid of lifeless skin cells and fine facial hair.

Dermaplaning exfoliating blade is the used in combination of short, and fast strokes. It’s completely painless.

Does removing the facial hair stimulate more hair growth?
This is only a myth. Superficial vellus hair (that’s the scientific call for smooth facial hair) will grow back at an identical rate and texture pre-treatment. Once the hairs develop back you may count on it to develop blunt-ended, so it’s going to experience coarse at first, however it won’t seem darker or thicker.
